Mix & Master
What it is: This is our all-in-one, comprehensive service. We take the individual recorded tracks from you and perform both the mixing and mastering processes.
What it includes:
Mixing: Taking all the separate audio files (instrumental and vocals or vocals, drums, guitar, bass, etc.) and combining them into a balanced, great-sounding stereo track.
Mastering: Taking that final mixed stereo track and giving it the final polish to make it loud, clear, and ready for commercial release on platforms like Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube.
Best for: The client who wants a single engineer to handle their entire post-production process. This is the most popular and convenient option, as it ensures a cohesive sound from start to finish. It's often the best value and provides the highest quality control.
-
Mix
What it is: This is the standalone mixing service. We take the individual recorded tracks and blend them into a final stereo mix, but we do not perform the final mastering step.
What it includes:
Mixing: Everything from balancing levels and applying effects to creating a polished, powerful-sounding stereo track.
What it doesn't include: The final loudness and optimization for distribution. The resulting file will sound great, but it will not be at the competitive volume level of commercially released music. It is an unmastered "pre-master" file.
Best for: The client who has already hired a separate mastering engineer they want to work with, or for those who are planning to master the song themselves. This is also a good option for clients on a tighter budget who plan to release their music unmastered for a demo or rough mix.
-
Master
What it is: This is the standalone mastering service. We take your already finished stereo mix and prepare it for distribution.
What it includes:
Mastering: Applying the final touches to an already-mixed track, including optimizing its loudness, correcting minor tonal issues, and ensuring it sounds great across different listening systems.
What it doesn't include: The ability to adjust individual instruments. If the client sends you a mix where the vocals are too quiet, you can't go back and turn just the vocals up. You can only work with the entire mix as a whole.
Best for: The client who has already had their music mixed by another engineer (or mixed it themselves) and now needs the final polish to make it ready for release.

Radio mix
What it is: A mix that has been specifically engineered to sound its best on radio broadcasts.
The Goal: To create a mix that will hold up against the heavy processing (compression and limiting) and non-explicit standards that radio stations apply, also to ensure that the song's key elements—especially the vocals—are prominent and clear in a car or on a portable radio.
Key Characteristics:
Controlled Loudness: While it still needs to be loud, a radio mix is often mastered with slightly less aggressive limiting than a typical streaming master. This is because a mastering engineer knows the radio station's own gear will add more compression, and a mix that is already "maxed out" will sound distorted and fatiguing on the air.
Vocal and Lead Element Focus: The vocals, lead melody, and other primary hooks are often brought slightly forward in the mix to make sure they cut through.
Content Considerations: This is also where we might create an "explicit" and "clean" version of a song, with profanity or sensitive content either removed or replaced. We might also create a shorter "radio edit" to fit specific time slots.
Best for: Artists who are promoting a single and plan to submit it to radio stations.

Show Edit
What it is: A mix of pre-recorded audio tracks that an artist or band will play along with during a live performance.
The Goal: To provide a powerful, reliable, and clean backing track that complements the live instruments and vocals without causing issues for the live sound engineer. This mix is not meant to be a final product for distribution; it's a tool for the stage.
Key Characteristics:
One-Track Show MIx: This is where we combine your whole set-list into one audio file, so you or the DJ only have to worry about hitting “play” once.
Headroom and Clarity: The tracks are mixed with plenty of headroom and less compression. Live Dynamics are not the concern, as the live sound engineer or DJ will control the volume. The focus is on clarity and leaving space for the live instruments, vocals, or performance to shine.
Specific Cues: The tracks may include audible cues or click tracks for the musicians to follow, while simultaneously fitting it into your performance.
Best for: Touring artists and bands who use pre-recorded elements in their live shows (e.g., rap artists, electronic artists, pop singers, rock bands with complex soundscapes).
